Our series of local businesses to highlight had to start with the one and only Petaluma Coffee & Tea. It’s honestly vital to our busy business and gives us the motivation and energy to conquer the Petaluma real estate market! Their delicious, fresh, and unique coffee options are both the daily reward for a job well done and the driving fuel when we need to go the extra mile.
Gardner and Sheila Bride opened Petaluma Coffee & Tea in 1989 at Petaluma’s Foundry Wharf in the Historic Riverfront Warehouse District. With their newly purchased tea importing business and necessity for a larger space they relocated just down the road to their current location at 212 2nd Street in 2001. On the best days we are able to walk out of our office at the corner of 1st and D street and smell the heavenly aroma of roasting coffee just across the street.

You can’t miss the café with its new mural frontage and alluring roasted bean smells. Though surrounded by historic warehouses, the café itself offers a cozy, homey feeling inside where you can get out of the cold for a quick cup or invite a friend to spend the morning chatting away. You’ll be able to enjoy art from local artists on the walls, pop-up events, and even delicious snacks! Also, you just can’t beat the $1 cup of coffee deal.
If you’d rather wake up with their awesome coffee or tea at home, you’re in luck! They sell some of the very best beans from all over the world to take with you! To the coffee illiterate, the board may be an overwhelming experience, but a quick chat with anyone there will give you the confidence you need to pick the perfect bean.
